What you should know before buying from abroad

Zenni Optical ships prescription glasses to over 200 countries, including Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina and South Africa. There is no geo-block and no US billing address requirement: at checkout you pick your country from the dropdown, and standard shipping runs about $9.95 with delivery in roughly 15-25 business days. Express runs around $19.95 for 5-10 business days. Payment is wide open — US and non-US Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover all work, plus PayPal globally and Apple/Google Pay.

The honest drawback is the back end of the deal. Customs duties, taxes and any import fees are assessed by your destination country and are your responsibility, not Zenni's — so the final landed cost can be higher than the cart total. Worse for returns: full refunds to your original payment method are limited to US and Canada orders. From the countries above you can still return defective or wrong glasses, but the remedy is typically store credit or replacement, not cash back.

You will also need a valid prescription and your pupillary distance (PD) to order — Zenni does not run eye exams. If your local optometrist gave you an Rx, that is all you need. Standard manufacturing-defect warranty runs 30 days from delivery with coating coverage up to a year; an optional extended warranty adds accidental-damage replacement. For the low prices, most expats accept the slow shipping and store-credit returns as a fair trade.

Quick answers

Does Zenni Optical ship to Thailand, the Philippines and other expat countries?

Yes. Zenni ships to over 200 countries, including all the destinations we checked, with no US address required. Pick your country at checkout.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

Possibly. Your destination country assesses duties and taxes, and those are your responsibility on delivery — they are not included in Zenni's price.

Can I get a refund if I return glasses from abroad?

Cash refunds to your card are US/Canada only. From other countries, returns of defective or wrong orders are handled as store credit or replacement.
