What you should know before buying from abroad
WHOOP is a subscription-first fitness band: you join a membership and the device is shipped as part of it. The sensor and the companion app work fine anywhere in the world once you are wearing the band, so day-to-day tracking in Thailand or Argentina is not the problem. The problem is getting the physical device to you in the first place.
The honest drawback is that WHOOP does not ship to any of the countries we checked. Its store covers roughly 56 markets, mostly the US, Europe, parts of Asia-Pacific and the Gulf, and none of our nine expat destinations are on that list. To buy one you need a US shipping address and usually a freight forwarder, and a US-issued card with a US billing address, because non-US cards are frequently bounced by the checkout. WHOOP itself has pointed customers in unsupported regions toward freight forwarders.
If you go the forwarder route, budget for local import duties and accept that returns or warranty swaps from abroad are slow. The membership and app remain linked to that imported unit, so once it arrives the experience is normal, but the buying step is the friction. If you already have a US address you can ship through, it is manageable; if you do not, this is a hassle rather than a clean purchase.
