What we verified
| Creating an account from abroad | Email signup — no US address or phone required |
| Paying with a US card | Processed normally and billed in USD |
| Paying with a non-US card | Accepted; a bank outside Canada may add its own small international transaction fee |
| Access without a VPN | No country geo-block — the identical editor loads everywhere |
| Free-plan export | The free tier can't download — publish-to-web only, capped at 5 designs |
| The catch | To download a clean, watermark-free file you must upgrade to a paid plan |
Where we checked
What you should know before signing up from abroad
Venngage is a fully browser-based infographic and design tool — you sign up, pick a template and edit in the browser, with nothing to install. It's used by millions globally with no country-level access restrictions, so an American in Thailand, Argentina or South Africa loads the exact same editor as someone in the US. No VPN, no regional lockout.
Billing is straightforward from overseas. The company is Toronto-based, prices are in USD, and both US-issued and non-US cards work. Venngage's own docs note only that a bank outside Canada may add an international transaction fee — a bank charge, not a Venngage block.
The honest drawback is that the free plan can't export anything: you can build and publish up to 5 designs to a public web link, but downloading a PNG, PDF or PowerPoint — and removing branding — requires a paid plan. Venngage works perfectly from abroad, but if you need to download your work, plan on paying.
Quick answers
Can I sign up for Venngage from outside the US?
Yes. It's a global web app — any email works, and no US address or phone number is needed.
Will my card work from abroad?
Yes. US cards and international cards both process in USD; a non-US bank may just add its own foreign-transaction fee.
Do I need a VPN?
No. There's no geo-block — the editor and templates are identical in every country.
