What we verified
| Ordering the site from abroad | Site loads and browses fine from all nine countries, no geo-block. |
| Paying with a US card | US-issued Visa, Mastercard and Amex all accepted at checkout. |
| Paying with a non-US card | International cards work through the Localised international checkout. |
| Shipping to your country | None of your nine countries are on the direct ship-to list. |
| Import duties & returns | Localised guarantees duties at checkout; international orders are non-returnable. |
| The catch | Argentina is explicitly blocked; others need phone order or forwarder. |
Where we checked
What you should know before buying from abroad
Saks.com runs a Localised international checkout, but its direct ship-to list is short: Australia, Canada, the UK, several EU and Gulf states, plus Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. None of the nine countries we check — Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina or South Africa — are on it. Argentina is named outright as unavailable.
The honest drawback: you cannot simply enter a local address and have Saks ship to it. Saks says some unlisted locations may be serviceable if you phone a Sales Associate, but this is case-by-case and not guaranteed. In practice most expats here route orders through a US package forwarder such as MyUS or Shipito, which adds a forwarding fee and a second customs charge on top of the duties.
Payment is the easy part: both US-issued and international credit cards are accepted, and when Saks does ship internationally, Localised guarantees the duty and tax total at checkout so there is no surprise bill on delivery. The trade-off is that internationally shipped orders cannot be returned or exchanged at any Saks store — a real risk on luxury sizing and fit.
Quick answers
Does Saks Fifth Avenue ship to Thailand or the Philippines?
Not directly. Neither is on the ship-to list, so you'd order by phone if serviceable, or use a US package forwarder.
Can I use my US credit card from abroad?
Yes. US-issued and international cards both work, including when you ship to a US forwarding address.
Will I pay extra duties and can I return items?
Localised guarantees duties at checkout on direct international orders, but those orders are non-returnable at any Saks store.
