Noom is a US-based weight and health coaching app, but it is genuinely usable from abroad. We created accounts from outside the US without needing a US address or US phone number, the app loaded and synced normally with no VPN, and the daily lessons, food logging and weigh-in tracking all worked as expected. It is sold in app stores across many countries and on the web, so this is not a hard US geo-lock.
The honest drawback is that the experience is built around US users. The free feature tier is restricted to the United States, Canada and Australia, and a couple of perks (like Green food logging) are US-only — so from Thailand or the Philippines you will generally be looking at the paid program rather than a free version. The curriculum, coach availability and food database also skew American, which can feel off if your meals and groceries are local.
Payment is the easy part: the web checkout takes US and non-US Visa/Mastercard plus PayPal, and buying through the Apple App Store or Google Play bills you in your local currency. Subscriptions auto-renew, so set a reminder before any free trial ends. Cancellation is handled in-app or through the subscription portal and does not depend on being back in the US.
