Mr Porter is the menswear arm of the YOOX Net-a-Porter group and ships luxury menswear to more than 170 countries. When you open the site it detects your location and switches to the matching market, so an American living in Bangkok, Manila or Cape Town sees prices, delivery times and shipping costs for that country without needing a US address or a forwarder. All nine countries we checked are served directly.
The one thing to watch is duties. Mr Porter ships most destinations on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis, meaning import duty and tax are calculated and included in the price you pay at checkout, with no surprise bill on delivery. A handful of countries are still DDU, where you pay duty separately to the courier on arrival, and certain items (lithium batteries, aerosols, some leather goods) face local customs restrictions and may be blocked for your address. The checkout flags this before you pay.
Payment is broad: US-issued Visa, Mastercard and Amex all work, as do locally issued Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and JCB cards, plus PayPal and Apple Pay. Returns are genuinely workable from abroad too, with a prepaid return label and a 28-day window, refunded to your original card or as store credit once the items are received.
