Where we checked
What you should know before signing up from abroad
Hostinger is a global web host with data centers across Asia, Europe and the Americas, so signing up from Thailand, the Philippines or anywhere else on our list works the same as it does in the US. There is no US-only geo-block on the control panel, and you do not need a VPN to reach your hPanel dashboard or manage your sites. We created accounts from these regions and reached checkout with no location wall.
The honest drawback is pricing transparency. Hostinger's headline rates are introductory and tied to long multi-year terms; renewal prices are markedly higher, and currency shown depends on which regional site you land on. Some payment methods are region-specific, and a few card networks (Discover, JCB, Maestro) are limited to the US and Europe, so from abroad you may need a Visa, Mastercard, Amex or PayPal.
Hostinger does not sell to a handful of sanctioned countries — Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela — none of which are on our checked list. Elsewhere, occasional high-risk flags can trigger a manual ID check on domain or account purchases, but standard hosting sign-ups from our countries went through without extra steps.
Quick answers
Do I need a US address or phone to sign up?
No. An email is enough to create an account, and billing accepts a non-US address.
Will my local card work, or do I need a US card?
Both work. Visa, Mastercard and Amex are accepted worldwide in USD; PayPal works too.
Do I need a VPN to use Hostinger abroad?
No. The dashboard and your hosted sites load normally from these countries without a VPN.
We may earn a commission if you sign up through our link — it costs you nothing and funds the verification work. We only list services we tested ourselves. Full disclosure.
