What you should know before buying from abroad
Dyson runs full official storefronts in every country we checked: dyson.co.th, dyson.ph, dyson.my, dyson.co.id, dyson.co.za and regional sites covering Vietnam, Costa Rica, Panama and Argentina. You can order online or walk into a Dyson store in major malls in Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Johannesburg. Both US-issued and locally issued cards work at these checkouts, and warranty is honored where the machine was bought.
The honest drawback: do not ship a US Dyson abroad. Dyson.com's US store only delivers within the 50 states, so you'd need a costly package forwarder. Worse, US hair dryers, Airwrap and Supersonic units are built for 120V and will not run safely on the 220-240V outlets standard across Southeast Asia, Latin America and South Africa. Running a US unit on local power can damage it and voids the warranty.
The clean move is to buy the local-voltage version from your country's Dyson store. Cordless vacuums and air purifiers ship with region-correct chargers and plugs, and prices are in local currency. If you already own a US machine, a Dyson manual confirms warranty only covers universal-voltage 100-240V models used abroad, which the hair-care line is not.
