Where we checked
What you should know before buying from abroad
Drunk Elephant sells direct from drunkelephant.com, but its shipping policy is blunt: it delivers only within the United States, plus US territories like Guam and Puerto Rico. There is no checkout option for Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam or any of the countries we test from. US credit and debit cards go through cleanly with a US billing address.
The honest drawback is that getting it to you abroad always means a workaround. You ship to a US freight forwarder (MyUS, comGateway, Big Apple Buddy and similar), then re-ship overseas. That adds a second shipping leg, and you become the importer of record — meaning local VAT, customs duties and carrier handling fees land on you, which in some countries can approach the cost of the product itself.
Returns are the other catch: Drunk Elephant only accepts returns of items bought on its US site, sent back within the US. Once a forwarder has exported your order, a practical return is effectively off the table. If you live near a Sephora that stocks the line locally, buying there is often simpler than importing.
Quick answers
Does Drunk Elephant ship internationally?
No. The official US site ships only within the US and US territories. Abroad you need a freight forwarder.
Will my card work on the US site?
US cards work normally. Non-US cards are sometimes declined because a US billing address is expected.
Will I pay extra to receive it abroad?
Yes. Expect forwarder fees plus your country's import VAT and customs duties on arrival.
