Where we checked
What you should know before buying from abroad
Chrono24 is a global marketplace connecting buyers to dealers and private sellers in over 150 countries. You can create an account and pay from anywhere with a US or international credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. Most listings ship fully insured worldwide, and the free Escrow Service holds your money until the watch is in your hands.
The honest catch: import duties and taxes are on you. When a watch crosses into Thailand, the Philippines, or any of the countries we checked, local customs adds fees the carrier collects on delivery — often a meaningful percentage on a luxury watch. Escrow is also not available in every country, and buyer protection does not cover purchases from private sellers, only professional dealers.
Before committing, confirm the seller ships to your address, factor in your country's customs rate, and favor dealers with a Trusted Seller or Certified badge so escrow and the 14-day return window actually apply to your order.
Quick answers
Does Chrono24 ship to countries like Thailand or the Philippines?
Yes. Chrono24 sellers ship insured to over 150 countries, including all the expat destinations we checked. Confirm the individual seller covers your address before paying.
Will I have to pay import duties?
Almost certainly. Customs duties and import taxes are charged by your local authority and usually collected by the courier on delivery, separate from the watch price.
Is my payment protected if I'm overseas?
Buying from a professional dealer with Buyer Protection holds your money in escrow until you confirm receipt. Private-seller purchases and a few countries are not covered.
